About the Author     

Sharon Goemaere currently resides in Salem, Oregon with her husband of 17 years, Steven and their male cat, Shadow, age 3. Sharon has been a full time homemaker since her husband's heart attack and mild stroke in 2002 and she herself is a cancer survivor. Sharon and her husband attend Salem Vineyard Church and have seen miracles of God's provision for their needs in dramatic ways.

I praise You my God
for the gift of Your love.
Sent in abundance
from heaven above.

I praise You my God
for the gift of my life.
Even when it’s been filled
with sorrow and strife.

I praise You my God
for Your blessings so dear.
But mostly I praise You
for Your presence so near.

 Set Them Free

Set them free Lord,
set them free.
Oh how they need
Your liberty!
Wasted lives now
steeped in sin.
Oh how they need
Your life within!
Dark of spirit;
Wounded heart.
Oh how they need
a brand new start.
To be set free.
